UNICEF Commends Sokoto Govt for Tackling Child Malnutrition

UNICEF praised Sokoto State Government for its efforts in addressing child malnutrition by handing over a fully furnished warehouse for nutrition supplies. The Deputy Representative of UNICEF, Charles Lolika, emphasized the importance of combating child malnutrition in Sokoto and neighboring areas.

The warehouse currently houses essential nutrition supplies to support health care centers and communities. Lolika highlighted the significance of adequate nutrition in reducing child malnutrition and ensuring the well-being of children in urgent need.

UNICEF pledged to continue collaborating with the Sokoto State Government to provide nutritional support.
