Nigeria Tackles Malnutrition Crisis Through Food Fortification Roundtable

To address this, policymakers, nutrition experts, and development partners recently convened in Abuja for the Fortifying Nigeria's Future Roundtable. The event focused on the importance of food fortification in improving nutrition security and overall health.

Daju Kachollom, the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, emphasized the need for innovative solutions to combat the triple burden of undernutrition, overnutrition, and micronutrient deficiencies facing Nigeria's population.
