Nigeria Faces Malnutrition Crisis: Urgent Action Needed Now!

Malnutrition remains a critical issue in Nigeria, affecting mainly children under five years old. According to the Nigerian Red Cross, 2 million children in the country suffer from acute malnutrition, with only 20% receiving treatment.

Particularly severe cases are found in Katsina and Sokoto States, where 47-48% of children face severe acute malnutrition. Urgent action is needed to address this growing problem, as the number of malnourished children continues to rise.
