MAN President Urges Urgent Reforms for Nigeria's Manufacturing Sector Growth

The President of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), Otunba Francis Meshioy, emphasizes the need for sustained government reforms to ensure the continuous recovery and growth of the nation's manufacturing sector. The MAN's third-quarter 2025 Manufacturing CEO's Confidence Index (MCCI) report highlights the fluctuating performance of Nigeria's manufacturing sector due to persistent structural challenges.

Meshioy advocates for strategic partnerships and policy reforms to promote industrial growth. The MAN Director-General, Segun Ajayi Kadir, notes a modest improvement in the MCCI, signaling a cautious increase in confidence levels among manufacturers.

However, challenges such as high inflation, volatile exchange rates, and elevated interest rates continue to impact the sector negatively.
