Manchester United to Recommend Carrick as Permanent Manager

Manchester United plans to recommend Michael Carrick as their permanent manager after his impressive performance as caretaker. The club intends to wait until the end of the season to officially name a successor to Ruben Amorim, who was dismissed due to tactical disagreements. Chief Executive Omar Berrada and Director of Football Jason Wilcox believe Carrick is the right choice and expect to present this recommendation to owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe within the week, after which formal negotiations will begin.

Carrick's tenure began on January 13, and he has collected 33 league points, contributing to a seven-game unbeaten run that includes victories against Aston Villa, Chelsea, and Liverpool.
