Mark Receives ADC Constitution Report, Calls for Loyalty

On Tuesday, David Mark, the Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), received a report from the party's constitution review committee at the party's headquarters in Abuja. He urged party members to prioritize discipline and loyalty to enhance the party's structure and establish it as a credible political alternative in Nigeria.

Mark highlighted that the ongoing review of the party's constitution should reflect current realities and address members' expectations, particularly in strengthening internal democracy, transparency, and accountability within the party. He assured that the leadership would thoroughly examine the committee's recommendations in line with the party's core values of fairness, justice, and equity, which are essential for the broader national interest.

The committee, led by Prof. Oserheimen Osunbor, noted that the constitution serves not just as a guiding document but embodies the collective aspirations of the party's members.

Earlier, the ADC's constitution review committee chairman, Etigw Uwa, emphasized the need for a robust constitutional framework to strengthen Nigeria's political party system.
