ADC Denies David Mark's Resignation as National Chairman

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially refuted claims that David Mark, the interim National Chairman, has resigned from his position. The party described the allegations as false and misleading, originating from what it termed as "insidious fabrications" aimed at creating confusion within the party.

The statement issued by the ADC's media office emphasized that Mark continues to serve as the National Chairman and that there are no discussions regarding his resignation. Furthermore, the ADC highlighted its leadership's unity and commitment to strengthening democratic principles while providing credible leadership in Nigeria.

The party warned against attempts to destabilize the ADC, attributing such efforts to fears regarding the party's rising influence and evolving political dynamics ahead of the 2027 general elections. The ADC reiterated its determination to resist any plots aimed at undermining Nigeria's multi-party democracy.
