Masari's Ex-Chief of Staff Defects from APC to ADC in Katsina, Citing Rescue Mission

Almustapha Saulawa, the ex-Chief of Staff to former Governor Aminu Masari, has defected from the APC to the ADC in Katsina. Saulawa announced his decision at the ADC secretariat in Katsina, registering formally as a party member.

He expressed disillusionment with the APC's leadership and claimed that the ADC offers a better platform to rescue Katsina state. Saulawa highlighted concerns about the APC's internal workings and alleged that the party is facing a serious threat to its rule.

Despite his close relationship with the current Governor Dikko Radda, Saulawa emphasized that his defection was a personal political choice. He aims to build the ADC in the state and potentially contest in the 2027 elections.
