Mass Defection Hits Ganduje’s Constituency As APC Members Join NNPP

A mass defection has occurred in Kano State Governor Ganduje's constituency, as members of the APC joined the NNPP. The Governor formally received the defectors at the Government House in Kano, expressing confidence in his government's policies.

During his 2023 campaign tour, Governor Yusuf highlighted his administration's achievements, promising to integrate the new NNPP members without discrimination. He also announced plans for a familiarization tour ahead of the 2027 general election and restructuring of the Dawanau International Market for efficient administration.

The NNPP State Chairman congratulated the defectors and expressed optimism for the party's electoral success in 2023. Prominent figures who joined the NNPP include Hon Nura Tumfafi and Alhaji Umar Ismail, among others.

The defection signals a significant shift in political allegiances in the region.
