Minister Matawalle Donates N6m to Bereaved Families in Zamfara

Bello Mohammed Matawalle, the Minister of State for Defence, donated N6 million and food items to two bereaved families in Zamfara State. The donation included 40 bags of assorted food items, 20 cartons of macaroni and spaghetti, and other provisions.

Each family received N3 million, 10 bags of rice and maize, 10 cartons of spaghetti and macaroni, and two jerry cans of groundnut oil. The beneficiaries were the family of late Sanusi Lilo, who died in a road accident, and the family of Alhaji Aminu Matawallen Yandoto, who lost his wife.

The donations were presented separately by representatives of the minister, led by Ibrahim Isa Mayana, Chairman of the Matawalle Political Standing Committee, during condolence visits. Matawalle urged the families to accept their losses as an unavoidable act of God and prayed for the deceased's forgiveness and for the families' strength.

The heads of the families expressed gratitude for the minister's gesture and prayed for his continued guidance and success.
