NYSC Warns Corps Members on Name Matching for Camp
• Punch Newspapers • Education
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has issued a strong reminder to prospective corps members regarding the importance of ensuring that the names on their certificates match exactly with those uploaded on the NYSC portal. This notice, obtained on Tuesday, emphasizes that any discrepancies, even minor differences in spelling, missing middle names, or extra initials, will not be tolerated during camp registration. Prospective corps members (PCMs) are advised to contact their institutions immediately to rectify any name mismatches before reporting to camp. The NYSC has highlighted that various batches of PCMs have faced issues in the past due to such discrepancies, which can hinder their registration process at the orientation camp.
