Crystal Palace's Mateta to Miss Nottingham Forest Clash Amid AC Milan Interest

Crystal Palace's forward, Mateta, is facing a potential transfer to AC Milan as the Italian club shows interest in the player. Manager Oliv Glasner has stated that Mateta will not be part of the squad for the upcoming Nottingham Forest match due to the player's desire to leave.

AC Milan has initiated contact with Crystal Palace, with an initial bid of £35 million being rejected as Palace values Mateta at £40 million. Crystal Palace, currently 15th in the Premier League, is open to selling Mateta but is yet to secure a replacement.

Manager Glasner remains optimistic about reinforcing the squad before the transfer deadline. Crystal Palace is considering options, including a potential bid of £50 million for Norwegian international Jorgen Strand Larsen from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Wolverhampton manager Rob Edward has confirmed Larsen's availability for the upcoming matches.
