In an interview with France Football, he emphasized that the primary goal of football is to score more goals than the opposition.

Mbappe noted that he has faced criticism throughout his career at the highest level, acknowledging that it is part of being a top player. He mentioned that he has a balanced view of criticism, distinguishing between constructive and absurd remarks.

Last season, he was Real Madrid's leading scorer and finished as LaLiga's top scorer with 25 goals in 31 appearances. Additionally, he is France's all-time leading scorer with 66 goals, a record he achieved during the 2026 World Cup.

This season, he has scored five goals in five games for Madrid.
