Female Leaders Transforming Nigeria's Telecoms Industry

Oluwakemi Young-Esumeh serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Internet Solutions Nigeria Limited (ISN) since March 2025, after nearly six years of progressive experience at the company. She previously held roles as chief operating officer and head of operations, having joined ISN in 2019 as business development manager.

Young-Esumeh's career includes a focus on operational efficiency and customer experience, with prior positions at Access Bank and Diamond Bank. She holds a degree from Ekiti State University and has certifications in data analytics and project management.

Under her leadership, ISN emphasizes digital transformation and connectivity, aligning with Nigeria's growing telecommunications sector, which reported 185.5 million mobile subscriptions and significant data revenue in 2025. The sector's expansion reflects a shift towards data services, with major operators like MTN Nigeria and Airtel Nigeria generating substantial earnings from data services.
