Mercy Johnson Arrests Angela Okorie for Cyberbullying in Nollywood Feud

Nollywood actress Angela Okorie was reportedly arrested by her colleague Mercy Johnson for cyberbullying. The arrest took place in Lagos on January 27, 2026, by the Nigeria Police Force Cybercrime Center in Abuja.

Seun Oloketuyi, a journalist and founder of the BON Awards, disclosed the incident on Wednesday, stating that Angela spent the night at the Yaba Panti Police Station before being transported to Abuja for court proceedings. This arrest came shortly after Mercy Johnson announced plans to tackle cyberbullying within her family in 2026.
