Angela Okorie Addresses Alleged Re-Arrest Drama After Cybercrime Case Release

Nigerian actress Angela Okorie has broken her silence following reports of a re-arrest after her recent release from custody in a cybercrime case involving fellow actress Mercy Johnson. Okorie took to Instagram to reassure her supporters late Tuesday night after being reportedly picked up from her Lagos residence and transferred to the Cybercrime Center in Abuja.

Despite being granted bail and released, she was allegedly re-arrested by the FCT Police Command on February 3, following a fresh petition filed against her. Actor Stanley Onyekachukwu Onyemuwa clarified that Okorie is safe and not re-arrested, urging the public to disregard misleading reports.

The situation escalated when actress Dori Ogala released a video online alleging the re-arrest was linked to unpaid legal fees owed to an unnamed senior advocate in Nigeria. Okorie's career and personal life have been under intense scrutiny, with fans expressing shock and concern over the unfolding events.
