However, Nashville's Cristian Espinoza equalized in the 74th minute, resulting in a 1-1 draw and eliminating Miami on away goals. This bittersweet moment marked the farewell to Miami's Chase Stadium, as the team is set to move to a new 26,700-seat facility next month.

Messi's goal tally includes 672 goals for Barcelona, 32 for Paris Saint-Germain, and 81 for Inter Miami, where he has played 96 matches. Messi, who has extended his contract with Inter Miami until the end of the 2028 season, is also expected to participate in the upcoming World Cup, defending Argentina's title.
