Middlesex University Honors Ooni of Ife and Wife

Middlesex University in London honored the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, and his wife, Olori Aderonk Ademiluyi Ogunwusi, for their enduring influence on global dialogue and cultural heritage. The recognition was conferred by the university's Dean and Vice Chancellor, Professor Shân Ware, highlighting the growing alliance between British academia and Nigerian royalty aimed at sustaining economic development.

The event featured a platform for student entrepreneurs, where Olori Aderonk delivered a keynote address, emphasizing the importance of traditional leadership in fostering innovation. A judging panel, including Prince Kamari Ademiluyi and Limara Haqu, provided opportunities for student entrepreneurs to present their ventures.

The event laid the groundwork for a proposed tripartite collaboration involving Middlesex University and Ojaja University in Nigeria, led by Professor Georg Dafoula, to translate academic dialogue into economic partnerships aligned with the Ooni's foundation vision.
