Mikel Obi Joins Fox TV as Analyst for 2026 World Cup

John Mikel Obi has been included in Fox Television's panel of analysts for the upcoming 2026 World Cup, which is set to begin on June 11. The Super Eagles failed to advance beyond the group stage in the 2018 World Cup held in Russia. Mikel, a former Chelsea star, retired from club football in September 2022 and has since become a visible figure in sports media, including hosting a podcast.

His selection as an analyst is not surprising, given his experience and knowledge of the game.
