Miko Takes Charge of PTML Command, Promises Integrity

Nura Ibrahim Miko has formally taken over leadership of the PTML Command within the Nigeria Customs Service, succeeding Joseph Anani. Miko has committed to ensuring due process and integrity in trade facilitation, emphasizing that these principles will be non-negotiable priorities.

He disclosed that the command has collected N178 billion in revenue during Anani's tenure. Miko aims to foster teamwork and collaboration among stakeholders, asserting that mutual respect and shared commitment are essential for effective port operations.

He acknowledged the importance of inter-agency synergy in achieving revenue generation and national security. Miko expressed his intention to build upon the achievements of his predecessor and maintain open communication with stakeholders to sustain the command's reputation as a model of efficiency and integrity.

He also highlighted the confidence placed in him by the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir A. Adeniyi, to lead the command effectively.
