Military Cargo Plane Crash in Bolivia Kills 15, Injures 30

On Friday evening, around 6:20 PM local time, a Bolivian Air Force C-130 Hercules military cargo plane crashed while attempting to land at El Alto International Airport, near La Paz. The aircraft reportedly lost control during landing and skidded off the runway, colliding with several vehicles on a busy road.

Fire Chief Pavel Tovar confirmed that the crash resulted in at least 15 deaths and 30 injuries. The plane was transporting newly printed Bolivian banknotes, which were scattered across the roadway, leading to a chaotic scene as residents rushed to collect the money.

Emergency responders worked to establish the extent of casualties among passengers and motorists involved in the collision.
