Mitchell Elegbe Rejoins EY Global Jury for 2026 Awards

Mitchell Elegbe, the founder and CEO of Interswitch Group, has been reappointed to the Global Jury for the 2026 Ernst & Young (EY) World Entrepreneur of the Year Award. This reappointment marks the third consecutive year he has served in this prestigious role.

The award ceremony is set to take place annually in Monte Carlo, Monaco. The EY World Entrepreneur of the Year program has been celebrating exceptional entrepreneurs since 1986, recognizing over 10,000 outstanding individuals for their vision, innovation, courage, and leadership in building successful businesses that positively influence people's lives and contribute to the economic vibrancy of local communities and global markets.

In June 2023, Elegbe was inducted into the 2023 EY World Entrepreneur of the Year Hall of Fame alongside 48 accomplished entrepreneurs from 45 countries, highlighting his unique distinction as a Black African global finalist.
