Mo Bimpe Reflects on Exclusion, Urges Hope for Women

On August 31, Nollywood actress and producer Oyebade Adebimpe, known as Mo Bimpe, recounted her painful experiences of exclusion from social events while trying to conceive. This reflection occurred after attending the first birthday celebration of Rakeem, the son of Priscilla Ojo and Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, which took place on August 29 at The Lekki Coliseum in Lagos.

Mo Bimpe expressed her feelings of being left out of baby showers, naming ceremonies, and children's birthday parties, particularly noting that some of those who excluded her were people she knew and cared about. She discovered that her childlessness was the reason for her exclusion, which was especially painful as she loves children and wished to share in the joy of others.

Mo Bimpe emphasized that women without children deserve love, friendship, and inclusion, urging society to show more understanding towards those facing fertility challenges, as the process can be filled with pressure and disappointment.
