Ikorodu High Court Orders Abroad DNA Tests in Mohbad Paternity Dispute

The Ikorodu High Court has mandated three separate DNA tests to be conducted abroad to resolve the paternity dispute concerning late singer Mohbad's son, Liam. Joseph Aloba, Mohbad's father, represented by his lawyer Oladayo Ogungb, seeks to address doubts surrounding previous testing attempts.

The court initially planned for an independent test, but due to local facility limitations, three foreign laboratories will now conduct the tests. The court will appoint the third facility to ensure impartiality.

The late singer's father emphasizes the importance of DNA verification before determining Liam's paternity. The matter has been adjourned until February 10.

A previous report highlighted allegations made by Aloba against Mohbad's widow, Omawunmi, regarding the child's parentage. The case underscores the significance of DNA testing in resolving familial disputes.
