Moni Rebrands to Rank, Acquires AjoMoney and Zazzau MFB to Launch Africa's First Community-Focused Money App

Nigerian fintech startup Moni has rebranded to Rank and acquired AjoMoney and Zazzau MFB to develop Africa's inaugural community-centric money app. The move signifies Rank's evolution from a lending platform to a comprehensive digital financial ecosystem.

By integrating AjoMoney's digital thrift savings technology and Zazzau MFB's banking license, Rank plans to offer a range of community-driven financial services like savings, credit, investment, and payments within a single app. Femi Iromini, CEO of Rank, envisions empowering groups and communities financially, reflecting the company's mission to scale Africa's communal financial traditions with transparency and inclusivity.
