Moniepoint Launches N3bn Innovation Hub in Nigerian Universities

Moniepoint has entered into a significant agreement to create an innovation hub worth N3 billion across three Nigerian universities over the next three years. The universities involved are Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in Ile Ife, University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN), and Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) in Zaria.

The agreement was signed at Obafemi Awolowo University, where Mr. Tosin Eniolorunda, co-founder and Group CEO of Moniepoint, emphasized the importance of local talent in driving Nigeria's digital economy.

He stated that the success of companies like Moniepoint is rooted in the foundational training received from Nigerian universities. The Vice Chancellor of Obafemi Awolowo University, Professor Adebayo Simeon Bamir, expressed confidence in the partnership, asserting that the innovation hub will enhance student learning and transform the educational landscape.
