Artists Withdraw from Great American State Fair Event

Bret Michaels also withdrew, stating that the event had shifted from its original purpose of celebrating American culture and honoring veterans to something divisive. Young MC confirmed his exit due to concerns about political involvement, while Flo Rida did not issue an official statement but reacted on social media.

The Freedom 250 event, which is part of the United States' 250th anniversary celebrations, has faced scrutiny over its nonpartisan claims. Other artists, including members of Milli Vanilli, clarified their involvement, with Fab Morvan set to perform.

Freedom 250 spokesperson Julia Friedland defended the initiative as nonpolitical.
