Okpebholo Predicts More Governors Will Join APC

Edo State Governor Okpebholo stated that more governors are expected to join the All Progressives Congress (APC). His remarks were made during an official reception for defectors in Benin City on Wednesday.

Okpebholo expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu and the people of Edo State for their support of the APC's governance. The newly elected APC executive in Edo State, led by Jarrett Teneb, endorsed Okpebholo for a second term in office.

This decision was disclosed in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Patrick Akher Ebojel, on Tuesday. The endorsement occurred during the APC congress, where Teneb accepted a speech to formally endorse Tinubu and Okpebholo for their leadership roles.

Okpebholo highlighted the party's strong performance and improvements in the lives of Edo residents. He also announced the endorsement of Senator Oshiomhole for a second term in the Edo North senatorial district, citing his quality representation and the party's unwavering support.
