Nigerian Foundation Urges Male Involvement in Combatting Gender-Based Violence

The Fame Foundation in Nigeria is calling for increased male participation in combating gender-based violence (GBV). Executive Director Arabinrin Aderonke Atoyebi highlighted the foundation's ongoing efforts, including a 16-day campaign and partnerships with NAPTIP.

Kemisola Ibitoy emphasized the importance of addressing the underlying causes of GBV and urged men to become allies in the fight. The foundation's femicide tracker, launched last year, aims to track and address reported cases of GBV.

The campaign stresses the need for societal shifts and collective action to end GBV.
