GNM Pushes for Jonathan's 2027 Presidential Candidacy

The Goodluck Nigeria Movement (GNM) is intensifying efforts to encourage former President Goodluck Jonathan to enter the 2027 presidential race. Despite Jonathan's silence on the matter, the GNM announced plans to rally 200 million Nigerians to support his candidacy in the upcoming elections.

Chief Diekivi Ikiogha, the national chairman of GNM, emphasized that Jonathan represents hope and the potential for economic recovery, describing the group as a voice for the unemployed and a protector of democracy. Following the inauguration of the group's leadership, which included Chief Robert Azibato as national secretary and Dr.

Derek Omoleh as director of strategic communication, Ikiogha stated that the movement aims to expand its operations across Nigerian media and local communities. Dr.

Omoleh characterized the movement as a national rescue mission, aiming to bring back a leader who symbolizes Nigeria's last period of true prosperity.
