MultiChoice Appoints Kemi Omotosho as New Nigeria CEO, Succeeding John Ugbe

MultiChoice has announced a change in leadership with the retirement of John Ugbe, who served as the Chief Executive Officer for nearly 15 years. Kemi Omotosho is set to take over as the new CEO in January 2026.

Omotosho, with over two decades of leadership experience spanning media, telecommunications, and digital business in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa, has held various senior positions within the MultiChoice Group. Her appointment aims to ensure the continuity and stability of MultiChoice's Nigerian operations amidst significant market changes and long-term strategic initiatives.
