Eko DisCo CEO Momoh Retires After Takeover by TransGrid Consortium

Eko DisCo CEO Momoh has retired after the acquisition of a 60% stake by TransGrid Consortium. Momoh's exit marks the end of her 33-year career at Eko Electricity Distribution Company.

During her tenure, Eko DisCo focused on reducing losses, upgrading infrastructure, and expanding its digital systems. Momoh oversaw the implementation of a mass meter program and the rollout of smart meters to enhance billing accuracy.

She also introduced service level agreements and adjusted tariff structures to align with regulatory changes. Momoh expressed gratitude for the opportunity to lead and build a strong institution.
