Jamal Musiala Returns to Training After On-Field Collapse

Jamal Musiala, a 23-year-old midfielder for Bayern Munich, returned to training alone following his collapse on the pitch during a friendly match against RB Leipzig on Saturday, which Bayern won 3-1. Musiala fell at the end of the match and required medical attention due to dizziness, circulatory issues, and feeling feverish, particularly in the hot conditions of over 30 degrees Celsius in Munich.

Although he did not participate in an open training session on Monday, he trained individually at Bayern's Saebener Strasse facility earlier that day. Reports from German media indicate that Musiala is expected to return to team training later this week, in preparation for the Supercup clash against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.

Musiala had previously missed the first six months of the 2025-26 season due to a broken ankle sustained at the Club World Cup and was recalled to the Germany squad for the 2026 World Cup, where Germany was eliminated in the last-32 stage by Paraguay.
