Omokri Congratulates Osa Director on National Honor

Reno Omokri, a prominent figure associated with the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), publicly congratulated Osa Director, the current National Public Secretary of the NDC, for being included in the 2026 national honor list announced by President Bola Tinubu. Omokri described Osa as a long-time friend and legal representative, commending his significant role in the June 12 struggle that contributed to the establishment of Nigeria's fourth republic.

In his message, Omokri expressed pride in Osa's achievements and service to Nigeria, wishing him long life and continued meritorious service. The national awards were announced during a nationwide broadcast on a Friday, recognizing 51 prominent Nigerians for their contributions to democracy and the fight against military dictatorship during the 1990s, including Osa's work as an investigative journalist and lawyer, which led to harassment and imprisonment under the Sani Abacha military regime.
