N-HYPPADEC Donates N10m to Kebbi Bandit Attack Victims

The Niger Delta Power Holding Company (N-HYPPADEC), represented by Managing Director Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Yelwa, donated N10 million and assorted food items to victims of recent bandit attacks in Kebbi. The attacks impacted communities including Kawara, Binuwa, Kalkami, Dabe, Kasoshi, Kafar Giwa, and Sa Madubi in the Shanga Local Government Area, leaving several individuals dead and properties worth millions of naira destroyed.

During a condolence visit to Shanga LGA, Yelwa expressed sympathy for the affected individuals and condemned the attacks as cowardly acts aimed at disrupting peace and livelihoods. He emphasized the necessity of providing immediate support to cushion the impact of the attacks.

The donation included 100 bags of 50kg rice, 100 bags of assorted grains, cooking oil, detergent, soap, blankets, and mats. Governor Nasir Idris and Alhaji Garba Salisu Takwar acknowledged the timely intervention and assured that measures are in place to support the displaced individuals and enhance security in the state.
