Fake "Obi of Lagos" Arrested for Impersonation Scheme

A man, Chibuike Azubike, was arrested for impersonating the "Obi of Lagos" and attempting to stage a fake installation ceremony. The Lagos State Police Command uncovered Azubike's elaborate plan to deceive people into believing he was a legitimate traditional ruler.

Azubike confessed to using the title of an engineer to gain credibility and attract financial support for a fictitious palace project. The suspect and three accomplices remain in custody for attempting to defraud unsuspecting individuals.
