NADF Supports 2,000 Onion Farmers in Four States to Boost Agribusiness

The Nigerian Agricultural Development Fund (NADF) has provided support to 2,000 onion farmers in four northern states by distributing agricultural inputs. This initiative, aimed at boosting agribusiness and addressing the negative impact of flood disasters, included the distribution of fertilizers, onion seeds, and chemicals.

The gesture, which took place simultaneously in Borno, Yobe, Sokoto, and Kebbi states, aligns with the government's agenda to enhance agricultural value chains and stimulate economic growth. The intervention is part of efforts to reduce post-harvest losses and strengthen Nigeria's food ecosystem, particularly in regions affected by recent floods.
