NAF Airstrike Eliminates Terrorists in Sambisa Forest

On April 19, 2026, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) executed a precise air interdiction operation in Sambisa Forest, targeting terrorist fighters concealed within Yuw Axi Forest. This operation was supported by credible intelligence and surveillance reconnaissance (ISR) that confirmed the presence of active terrorist elements operating from fortified structures and bunkers.

The Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodam, disclosed that NAF air assets engaged the identified targets using precise munitions, resulting in the destruction of these structures and the neutralization of multiple terrorists.
