NAF Airstrikes Successfully Target Terrorist Hideouts in Borno

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) successfully executed airstrikes on terrorist hideouts located in the Southern Tumbun area of Borno on Friday at approximately 18:50 hours. According to a statement from the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodam, the operation was based on credible intelligence regarding insurgent activities.

NAF air assets conducted focused surveillance sweeps, identifying concealed tracks and hidden dens within foliage. The precise strikes engaged the identified structures, achieving the desired effect of destroying terrorist facilities and further degrading their operational capabilities in the area.

Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sundai Anek, reaffirmed the NAF's commitment to intelligence-led operations aimed at denying terrorists safe havens. He emphasized the force's resolve to sustain pressure on terrorist networks and ensure the safety of the nation and its citizens, indicating that the NAF will continue its relentless pursuit to dismantle these networks.
