NAICOM Teams Up With SDGs Initiative to Boost Insurance Awareness Among Nigerian Youth

The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) has partnered with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Synergy Initiative to enhance insurance awareness and engage Nigerian youth in achieving SDGs. This collaboration, endorsed during a visit by the SDGs team to NAICOM in Abuja, aims to promote youth participation in SDGs through greater insurance penetration.

The partnership includes plans for a youth summit to raise awareness on the importance of insurance in achieving sustainable development goals. NAICOM, in collaboration with the Brazilian Embassy and National Youth Assembly Nigeria (NYAN), seeks to sensitize young people on the role of insurance in national development.
