Naira appreciates against dollar at official window

The Nigerian currency, the naira, appreciated against the American dollar at the official market, according to data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). The naira closed at 1 Naira to 1 dollar on Tuesday, representing a gain for the local currency compared to the previous day's trading.

In contrast, the naira remained flat against the dollar at the black market. Additionally, the naira gained N10 against the British Pound and N5 against the Canadian dollar, while it closed flat against the Euro.

These fluctuations in the exchange rates highlight the ongoing volatility in the Nigerian currency market.
