Naira loses N2.86 against dollar at official window

The Nigerian currency, the Naira, lost N2.86 against the US dollar at the official window, according to data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). The Naira closed at N1 to $1 on Thursday, representing a depreciation from the N1 to $1 rate at which it traded the previous day.

On the black market, the Naira gained N10 against the dollar, trading at N1 to $1. The Naira also lost N15 against the British Pound, closing flat against the Canadian dollar, and gaining N5 against the Euro.

These fluctuations highlight the ongoing volatility in the Nigerian currency exchange market.
