Nigerian Naira Gains N2.27 Against Dollar at Official Window, Black Market Sees Decline

The Nigerian Naira strengthened by N2.27 against the US Dollar at the official window, as per Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) data. The Naira closed at N411.1 to a dollar, marking an improvement from the previous day's N411.1 rate.

However, on the black market, the Naira depreciated by N5 against the Dollar, trading at N516. The Naira remained stable against the British Pound and the Canadian Dollar but lost N5 against the Euro.

This fluctuation reflects the ongoing volatility in the Nigerian currency exchange market.
