NALDA's Greenhouse Project to Boost Vegetable Availability and Jobs in Nigeria

The National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA) is implementing a Greenhouse Project to enhance vegetable availability and generate employment opportunities in Nigeria. Led by Mr.

Cornelius Adebayo, the project involves constructing greenhouses with advanced temperature control technology at various locations, including Abuja and Shagamu. By incorporating solar power and modern packaging facilities, the initiative aims to reduce food wastage and storage deficits.

The project targets youth and women, with plans to allocate a minimum of 10 hectares per federal constituency for vegetable farming. NALDA envisions a significant impact on the agricultural sector, particularly in addressing market demands and supporting local farmers.
