Nasarawa Governor Sule and Fatima Abdullahi Submit Nomination Forms

Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule has officially submitted his nomination form to contest for the Nasarawa North Senatorial District seat, citing overwhelming support from constituents. The submission was made on his behalf by a delegation led by Timothy Anjid, who emphasized the governor's strong appeal in the region.

Despite initial reluctance, the community's unanimous call for Sule to contest was highlighted, showcasing his track record and commitment to human infrastructure development. Concurrently, Fatima Abdullahi has submitted her nomination form for the governorship, expressing confidence in her chances for the 2027 elections.

She aims to enhance female participation in leadership roles and has outlined her priorities, including healthcare and education. Abdullahi criticized the absence of female governors in Nigeria since the return to democracy in 1999, despite women constituting a significant portion of the electorate.
