Dangote Group to Create Thousands of Jobs in Nasarawa

At the recently concluded Nasarawa Trade Fair, Fatima Wali Abdurrahman, the Regional Director and Special Adviser at Dangote Group, announced the company's commitment to creating thousands of jobs as it expands its operations across Nigeria and Africa. This expansion includes significant investments in various sectors, notably the sugar industry through the Nasarawa Sugar Company Limited (NSCL).

Aliko Dangote, the Group President and Chief Executive, highlighted the ongoing development of the Dangote Petroleum Refinery, which will employ 95,000 skilled workers at its peak. The company aims to transform Nigeria into a consumption-based economy and a powerhouse in production by 2030.

The Nasarawa State government, led by Governor Abdullahi Sule, is fostering a conducive environment for private sector investment, as emphasized by Catherin Bako from the Ministry of Trade and Industry. The region's abundant mineral resources are also expected to attract further investments.
