NASENI Celebrates Staff Contributions at 2025 Awards

At the 2025 NASENI staff motivation and reward event in Abuja, Khalil Suleiman Halilu, the Executive Vice Chairman of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), commended the agency's workforce as the driving force behind its transformation. He emphasized the importance of the staff in achieving the agency's goals, which align with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda.

Halilu noted that NASENI has developed 44 commercially viable products, including laptops, smartphones, solar irrigation pumps, and electric tricycles. He also mentioned the construction of a solar industrial park in Gora, Nasarawa State, which is set to become Africa's largest clean energy manufacturing hub.

The event celebrated the contributions of the staff, reaffirming NASENI's commitment to developing homegrown technology and strategic partnerships to improve the lives of Nigerians. Halilu disclosed that the agency has created 30,000 direct and indirect jobs through various initiatives, including the Irrig Nigeria program and ongoing zero carbon projects.
