Nigerian Lawmakers Affirm Commitment to Oversight in Oil and Gas Sector

The Nigerian House of Representatives committee on Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring, led by Hon. Boma Goodhead, reiterated the National Assembly's dedication to providing legislative oversight to ensure the full implementation of the President's vision for quality services in Nigeria's industrial ecosystem.

During an oversight visit to Zobi Cable Nigeria Ltd in Anambra State, the committee commended the company for its adherence to the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development (NOGICD) Act and its use of modern technology to enhance local production. The committee's actions align with President Bola Tinubu's directive to prioritize patronage of local manufacturers in the oil and gas, power, and infrastructure sectors, aiming to boost economic growth, job creation, and self-reliance.
