Nigerian National Assembly Passes N48.32 Trillion Revised 2025 Budget

The Nigerian National Assembly has approved a revised budget of N48.32 trillion for 2025 following a request from President Bola Tinubu to extend the budget implementation period to March 31, 2026. The budget breakdown includes allocations for statutory transfers, debt servicing, recurrent non-debt expenditure, and capital expenditure.

This move comes after the approval of a revised N43.56 trillion budget for 2024. The Senate and House of Representatives passed the appropriation bill during a plenary session.
