National Assembly Approves N1.504 Trillion Army Budget

The National Assembly of Nigeria has approved a budget proposal of N1.504 trillion for the Nigerian Army for the year 2026. This approval was granted during a joint budget defense session attended by the Army's top brass, including the Chief of Army Staff.

The session was chaired by Senator Abdulaziz Yar Adua, who expressed satisfaction with the budget proposal. He assured the Army that the National Assembly would ensure the timely release of funds to execute the budget effectively.
